My long-term experience enables me to offer effective therapy to a wide cross section of clients from a diverse population. I non-judgmentally counsel a range of emotional and psychological difficulties with adults of all ages and backgrounds - helping them move forward to where they want to be in their lives.
"Conspectus" means taking an overall view and we often find that one initial issue clients have leads to exploration of another and so on.
My focus is to help individuals prioritise concerns, come to terms with events in their lives, develop themselves and to harness their innate inner strengths. I help to achieve this by providing a neutral safe space for sessions and empathically accepting that your struggles are valid. This facilitates the creation or continuation of your realistic, achievable goals.
I initially trained at various campuses around West Yorkshire before completing my degree in person-centred counselling at the University of Brighton.
I've specialised in working with clients who have physical illnesses, been victims of abuse, had relationship issues as well as anxiety, stress and depression which have become increasingly prevalent.
